Forums IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ Diamond Feng Shui Bed near door but can't move it

Hi,

I recently moved into a college dorm (its a single room).

My bed is facing the door and I haven't been sleeping very well since I moved in so I'd like to move it. The problem is that the only way to move it would be to swap places with the desk and put that in front of the door which would be worse for my studies.

Anybody got any advice please?

Good for you for working with feng shui in your dorm. Small spaces can be challenging but the feng shui can still apply.

Here are a couple of ideas for you:
You can switch it and get a sense of your personal experience with the bed and the desk switched. Keep in mind that according to Marie, the priority is to have your bed and desk in one of your ideal directions and then take the position of the door into consideration. If you need to just work with what you have, you can place a mirror in relation to either the bed or the desk so that you are still in a position of power and can see the incoming traffic and therefore experience the incoming energy through the door. You do not want to be in the direct flow of the incoming energy as this can be overwhelming and really distupt or sleep and studies.

Oh! I almost forgot, if you do place a mirror in relation to the bed, be sure to cover it when you sleep as mirrors create quite a bit of yang energy.
