Forums IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ Diamond Feng Shui Water dragon and River Behind me

I live in an apartment complex, with a SW1 door. Since it faces out into a hallway I assume that the flow of water would be the people walking here? Is this incorrect? What can I do to create the water dragon here to support me?

Also, behind my apartment is a glass window door that opens up to an unenclosed deck - and the river is behind me flowing right to left. Is this something I should cure? And if so how would I do that? Thanks!

according to the course updates the water should flow from right to left. Maybe it's a good idea to place a small fountain with such a waterflow in front of your door (if possible) or inside your appartment. Or, if you don't have enough space inside your appartment a picture of a corresponding water feature might do the trick, but the water should not flow away from your apartment.

I have no idea regarding the river behind your apartment. I don't know much about landscape feng shui. I think Lilian Too says in one of her books that unfortunate waterflows should be kept from view. Whether yours is unfortunate I cannot tell, maybe someone else can...

The water dragon in relation to apartments can be a funny thing. I too am in an apartment. Your feng shui is typically oriented to your personal living space. On page 70 of your level one manual you'll find directions on which way your water dragon should flow based on the degree of your front door. The best way to represent it would be with a bubbling fountain outside the door if possible or just inside the door. A picture representing the optimal flow works as well as Astrid mentioned.

How do you feel when you view the river from that particular deck? Marie does not address much of the landscape feng shui save for what is mentioned in level one on page 52. If the land behind the apartment slopes downward, this can be symbolic of abundance rolling down the hill away from you. It's remedied by placing some sort of sturdy support at the back of the property. It can be symbolized by rocks, trees, shrubs ultimately you are holding the consciousness of having support at your back that the universe is there behind you, it's got your back.
