Hi there

I bought the PhotoReading course close to 18 months ago now. I am still struggling to get it to work for me. I have a huge problem with sub-vocalising in my mind as I read and I tend to have to reread sentences over and over again as I suddenly realise while reading that I don't know what I'm reading about.

What's the easiest way to help let go of old habits such as sub-vocalising? How can I train my mind to read as if I'm watching a movie or documentary in my head?

It really is driving me mad as it takes me ages to read books and I generally can't remember much about what I read in the books. I used to be able to read with live imaging in my head when I was like 10 or so then I stopped reading as much for several years and when I started again I had to read each word.

I know that if I can continuously do something without thinking for 2 to 3 weeks I will form a new habit. Are there any mind or eye exercises I can try?

It's quite interesting though cause I can do word searches the way PhotoReading is meant to be done, I look over the words then I PhotoRead the word box, then look over the words again and as long as I keep one word in my mind at a time I know exactly where it is in the grid without having to look for it. But I just can't seem to click with it for books.

Thanks
Greg
