I have an idea here to further underscore.
When once you Photoread or picture read some material and then take up the material again with whatever 'technique' such as 'skittering' etc. the most salient point is this:
The information, ideas and concepts that the book holds are 'no longer in the book' but recorded in you, assimulating and sorting out 'in you'. So, your perspective shifts from 'getting to unfolding'.
That would be why you could line up a dozen 'activation activities' that included a simple conversation with anyone 'on topic' and it could trigger the corresponding understanding of the ideas that first perhaps for you once only in that book.
Again why it is good to stay on a singular topic for a season long enough and work with it and why one would seek to Photoread a goodly selection of 3-4 titles covering one central theme.
