Hello, if the SW is going to be an unauspicious sector this year, I am trying to figure out what to do...
My office at home is in the SW and W. The room next to me is in the SW and S. In other words the SW sector is in half my home office.
Is it alright to try to move towards the W corner more. But the SW is still about 1-2 feet away from me if I do this anyway! Do I have to get out of this room?

Aloha snowcountry,
You can adjust the location of your desk and storage in this situation if that is workable in that room. Placing the cure can help neutralize what is happening in the not-so-beneficial section of the room.

The SW is very bad for me too. It is the disaster area for my 20 year time Feng shui and this year! And this area for us is our Master Bedroom and connected Master Bathroom. There is no way that my husband will let us move our bedroom. He is letting me make changes, pick colors, etc... that I do according to Feng Shui but we have not seen anything good come out of it yet so I am sure that he will not agree with moving our bedroom.
I would like clarification for the cure when the Disaster area is in a bedroom. Level 3 page 24.
It says: "put the Diamond above the bed at the center of the headboard. You can also hang the Diamond in th person Success direction of the person(s) sleeping in the bedroom."
Does that mean that I can hang a Diamond in the bedroom 1 in my Success direction and 1 in my husband's Success direction or should I hang it in the direction of my house?
I also have another question related to this. We do not have a headboard. I was looking online to find one, and my question is do I need to find a headboard that connects to the bed or can I buy a headboard and hang it on the wall?

if you do not have a headboard then I would hang it on the wall. And I think it means above your headboard and in the success directions of your husband and you in that room. If you cannot move your bedroom maybe you could sleep with your head towards your good directions.
What is the disaster star cure indicated in the chart?
My son's bedroom is in the SW and he experienced the effects of the yearly desaster star already at the beginning of the January - I hung a large 6-rod metal windchime in his bedroom and everything is fine with him now. But the 20 year star in this area is an abundance star which I activated with water - and metal enhances water and weakens the earth energy of the yearly disaster star. A large windchime might be a good solution for you too, but I am not sure about it. (For example, I have a disaster star combination in my home that is connected with metal energy and adding metal would be fatal). In such a case it might be a good idea to contact a consultant at Learning Strategies to analyze the combination of your stars in more detail. Or - depending on the reading of your front door - it might be possible to change the facing direction of your door and get a totally different energy into your bedroom.
If you have not seen anything good come out of it then it is still possible that you have reduced some effects of the negative stars and the energetic level stays the same due to the yearly disaster star in your bedroom ...
It took some time in my home, too. And I started in 2006...

Hey Astrid
Will you be thinking about clearing the energy in the wind-chime in your son's bedroom after 4 February and rehanging it? My understanding is that even though the energy coming in about 6 weeks earlier than Chinese New Year is for 2010, the energy collected by the wind-chime will continue to be 2009 if the cure is not cleansed and rehung after 4 February.
I'm sure you already know this though as you have such a good knowledge of feng shui.

Hi, Desley, thank you, you're too kind  yes, I cleansed it after 4th February - thank you for reminding me (A very good option to clear the energy in a wind chime is reiki. It is pure universal energy and has a very strong effect on dense areas.) Love, Astrid
