I am looking to start a thread related specifically to Natural Brilliance. I really need to hear some success stories, as I am already at the point I've been stuck at for years, which is to get some program, be all excited about it, then the old patterns kick in and I never finish it. I'd really like to overcome that DEEP rooted stuck state that has caused most of the difficulties of my life. I was hoping that just listening to it would help me at least overcome the block enough to finish it, but it doesn't look good. Come on brothers/sisters...help me out.

Open the manual there is important information in there that guides you to your goals. Just listening is too passive write the stuff you need to write in the manual, if not the manual use a journal to answer the questions Paul has in the manual for you, to help focus on your goal.

Thank you Alex. That's kind of the problem. I can't quite explain it, but there is something inside me that literally seems to physically stop me from doing things like this. I've tried beating myself up, praying, meditating, fasting, EFT, etc., etc., etc., but still I get in these patterns of starting but then stopping all that helps me. It's like theres something inside that wants me to not be at peace or to become fully enlightened. I'm not trying to whine, but I feel like it might help if I could hear from anybody out there who has successfully used this particular course. Thank you very much.
With Love,
Lake

We all have blocks. That's why it's best to chunk stuff that we learn. That means taking a small piece of the course and working with it one step at a time. So for Natural Brilliance you might take it step by step and spend a day just doing the Release step.

For example, whenever you want to beat yourself up about something just take a moment to release. Imagine what it would be like just to release. Do it a number of times through the day.

Like knitting a jumper, it's done one stitch at a time. Or juggling. You keep the object in motion continuously adjusting to throw and catch the object.

Hi Lake,

I don't have good advice for you like Alex had, but I can offer my empathy--for what it's worth. I understand exactly what you're talking about: Wanting and investing money in a beneficial program, and yet when it comes down to doing the actions that might make the difference, it almost feels like you're physically restrained.

I'm working with the Sound Health, Sound Wealth program right now, and one of the CDs is a bedtime hypnosis CD. I have listened to it only a handful of times in four months (should be every night). I keep the CD in my CD player right by my bed, but when I reach to push that Play button it's as if my arm is held back by some invisible hand and I can't do it. I'm dealing with the problem by doing what I can do in the program right now and being constant with that effort, accepting my progress will be slower, and trusting that eventually I'll find I want to push that Play button.

So no brilliant insights here--I just wanted you to know that you're not alone. Because honestly, until I read your post I felt like *I* was alone (or dismissed as lazy), and knowing I wasn't alone actually made me feel relieved, stronger, and more hopeful.

Thanks for posting, Lake!

One thing which may help is using the Procrastination tape/CD. Paul Scheele once said that he, himself, uses this one a lot, and I have found that I do too, and it helps me tremendously. If there is something I want to do or have to do and just can't seem to actually do, I listen to this tape (or now, CD), and afterward, I just naturally feel the urge to do whatever it is I couldn't previously do, and I do it effortlessly. For me, that program is magic.

Classic, benewme, Alex, et.al.
Thank you for responding, I apologize for not getting back to you for so long. You may not even get this, I don't know. Well, how many months has passed and, par for my course, the Natural Brilliance course sits on my shelf. As usual, I started with zeal thinking that "this was the one". I think that's how so many self help businesses stay in business. There's always something better out there that real screwed up folks like me will jump on thinking that it's the one. benewme, I appreciate your collaborating my experiences. It's nice to know that I'm not the only one. Most people with less heart would just call us lazy f*** ups. I continue to "try", I continue to pray, I continue to stop and start many things. I must tell you benewme, that I think the root of it may be depression. That invisible force that seems to physically keep us from the doing may actually be a misfire in our brains caused by chemical imbalances. But I speculate. All I do know is that, like you, I seem to have an outside force controlling my actions. I'm not talking psychotic like I'm an ax murderer or anything, but when it comes to things that involve bettering my self, I seem to be incapable of completing them. I don't know. Sorry for rambling. If any of you get this let me know.

Depression? Been there myself. Lake don't try too hard with the Natural Brilliance course. Make the effort to listen to the 4 individual Paraliminals and the coaching once. Do what you can in working with your goals in the manual and then listen to the Natural Brilliance generator for a week. Say part A in the morning and B in the evening before sleep.

You may not notice drastic progress I know I didn't see that way. But with 20/20 hindsight I discovered myself doing stuff I would never have dreamed of doing. I never noticed the stop signs were gone I was going ahead and moving ouside of my normal comfort zones.

If it wasn't for Natural Brilliance having a totally natural effect on me I would never have taken the step of becoming a PhotoReading Instructor. I would have ummed and hawed no end. As it was I just made a decision and went ahead and did it. I never realised it at the time that this was totally out of character for me. My family gave me the necessary cautions but were and still are proud of my decision to take action.

Doing the Natural Brilliance course isn't going to have a wand waving effect like all of a sudden it's all changed for the better. And yet in a way it is but it's like it's always been that way. It's like you were heading that way anyway. The name of the course is more significant than waving the wand. It's like your mind accepts that that is what it was all along. So to you the steping stones you've already hopped don't look like a big deal.

So listen to the main course once and let the Natural Brilliance Generator do the work. Listen to it every day for a week.

Keep a journal because it's the only way you can keep track of how far you've come.

Alex.

Alex, thanks for responding. I hate to sound like I'm whining, but it's just really frustrating after battling the same battles for over thirty years. I want to make sure I read you right. Are you saying try just the generator without the other four steps cd's for a week? I'll give it a shot, but it could easily be the same story. I've had the Holosync cds for over a year, and I can't even manage to listen to them for a week at a time. The same stuff that seems to physically keep me from doing something applies to even sitting there and listening. God, I see myself writing this and feel like such a loser. I can't help but feel like there's something wrong with me. It seems like I'm just a wimp with no discipline. Ugh. I'm ranting. Sorry. Thanks for the thoughts.

Once you've done the four main CDs the Natural Brillaince Generator keeps you doing the four steps. That's the beauty of it.

Some people find it useful to return to the main course later. And many have told us that when they drift off course they just put in the Natural Brilliance Gnerator for a day or a week and find themselves losing the blue funk moster and getting back int action.

Listen to the main course once and then stick with the Natural Brilliance Generator. A week is great longer if your inclined. And it's never a biggie if you miss a day.

Oh and your musing about your thoughts and writing. Release. That's the first step of Natrual Brilliance.

Ok so you have these negative thoughts. Okay they've been bugging you for years. But if you could just let them be, let go of them for just a moment. Then Notice there are choices.

You've let go of your thoughts that keep you skuck for just a moment. Notice what are your that what you can choose. What do you want to keep? What do you want to change. What would you like to do differently, if you could? Her you are just noticing wht is and what you like about what is, what you would like to do better and what you could do for now?

Then you Respond. How? Right now? Perhaps by listening to side B of the Natural Brilliance Generator. (Or A follow your muse ). Perhaps by saying something different. Perhaps just giving yourself permission to enjoy the moment.

After you do that Witness. What happened when you did that? Was it harder than you thought, what feedback did the world give you? Remember to Release again.

It's like a balancing act. You just gently keep adjusting to the motion of the world around you.

Alex
