I did it. There were times when I didn't know what the illustration means, so I scanned the text for the Illustration...
It was great.
Wow, that is good progress! Photoreading really is 'picture reading' anyway. It can take a moment to understand you are processing pictures of pages full of words and then translating them. Hence, why a period of 'gestation' is helpful, before attempting to 'activate' your understanding in detail of the ideas the text portrays.
