I am in the process of getting over a long period of illness and am using Diamond Feng Shui to help with the recovery of both me and the house and garden, both of which look like they have been hit by a bomb (and I do not look too much better!!).

While I can do some activations, such as the four best directions, and manage some others in the living room, because of the extreme mess, I cannot get to the whole of the living room and, in fact, every single room has a greater or lesser degree of mess to resolve. As a result, I will be clearing up one room per week, with the exception of the living room which might need two. At the moment, I am doing the level one course but by the time I get to some of the rooms, I will have reached and probably completed, level two.

My question relates to the activation of the different elements of Feng Shui presented in both levels - the Yin and the Yang. The first two rooms I deal will do not require any Feng Shui activations, being the kitchen and the bathroom. But the other rooms probably will need some, if not all, of the relevant activations. Should I activate both Yin and Yang aspects of Feng Shui at the same time when the room is clear, clean and tidy, or should I activate the Yin facet first, then the Yang facet, as they are presented in the course.

As some of the rooms need moving around and perhaps redecorating, I will be checking that I use appropriate colours and arrangements, but some of these are covered at level two rather than level one, hence my question.

I also remember Marie saying something about not doing everything at once, so again, that seems something I need to clarify.

Hope this posting makes some kind of sense!!

Kind regards to all

IMO, you'd start with the basics in level one. The level three stuff supposedly won't even work until the basics are implemented, so it seems like you'd want to start at the beginning. \:\)

And I can attest to the 'doing everything at once'. In an excited flurry I made a bunch of changes ASAP after I got my course. Did something every day, and was feeling the effects of the stirred-up chi for a good two weeks, on top of some other stress I was going through. Not fun! (Though after finding out the stuff I was feeling was chi, I was so relieved...) So, yes, pacing yourself is a good idea, too. ^_^

Best of luck!

Aloha Cheryl-Anne,

Foxdream has some good insights from her experience. What I'd recommend is do the space clearing of the room the night before you are going to declutter it. Allowing the energetic to give support to what you are doing to do can make a big difference. Depending on the sector the room is in, opening windows, turning on lights, and bringing in some refreshing music while working on it can add to the clearing/cleansing.

Take it a step at a time and celebrate each step.

Much love,

Shawn

With thanks to you both for your help - what you suggest makes sense. However, I am not sure that I will be able to achieve all of the decluttering in a single day. If the decluttering is likely to take two or three days, when should I do the space clearing?

Kind regards to all

It's been about 3 weeks since I have received my Diamond FS course and I have completed a bit of decluttering. However, there is still quite a bit left to do. Ever so slowly, it will be completed within this month. And, I have completed a few simple activations and cures. If anyone were to ask me, "Is it working?" My reply would be that I am curious to see what happens. I can say this, the decluttering and space clearing that I have completed does feel good!

Aloha Cheryl-Anne,

I'd do the energetic space clearing before I began the physical. Like was mentioned before, you don't need to do everything at once. Take your time, balance your schedule, and make progress.

Much Love, Shawn

Hi John

I have had my course for just over a month and because things have not been going as well as I would like, I have focused on activating my four best directions (which made me sit down and think about my goals, which was a good thing) and setting up the different activations and cures to help me get through the next few months. But I am looking forward to clearing up the mess and agree that a little at a time is the best way to tackle it.

Hi Shawn

Thanks for this - I think I had confused the energetic with the actual when I asked the question. There is nowhere for me to hide anything at the moment, so I must deal with each room as it is now, which involves physical space clearing as I declutter! As I intend making a start at the weekend, your guidance is timely.

Thank you both for your help.

Best wishes to all

Cheryl-Anne
