I am a chinese. spelling english words for me is very difficult. I had already tried the dictionary game and I got it in 70-80%, but I just tried some simple words.
I also played this game with my American friend asking me some complex words.
I can get it after she spelt the word but I don't know the meaning and how to pronounce the word.
What can I do for knowing the meaning?
Do I have to read the word with sound or spell it or write it down?

Use any new language as much as you can, speaking, writing etc.

Not until you 'think' in English will it be mastered, the path lies in thinking ideas out in the new language.

Remember to PhotoRead the other textbooks the same way. Grammar books and vocabulary books with conversations.

Read teen novels. They will teach the colloquial language. Listen to radio and follow some of the soaps of the language you want to learn.
