Hello,
What is the definition of a bubbling fountain? I think I understand the directional fountain, but am not sure what to look for when it comes to the bubbling fountain. Also, I am placing it in the North, what should it be made of and what color? Do I leave the fountain plugged in and running all the time?
Thanks for your help!

Aloha VMarra,
A bubbling fountain is the common fountain you finding in most stores, that pushes water up, and recirculates it.
If it is to go in the north, you could look for one made out of metal which enhances the water element.

Thanks Shawn! I just need my last question RE the fountain answered, this may be silly but should the fountain be continuously running? Or can it be turned off at night, or while we are away, etc...?

Shawn,
I recall an email from Marie in December (2009), stating that the bubbling fountain should be placed in the West of the living/family room or office for 2010. Is this correct or did I get it wrong?
A related question: What is the best direction to place an fish tank? Which room is best? I am an East group, fire element, 7 girl.
Thanks!

Aloha VMarra, Sometimes I've answered the question in my mind, but it doesn't find its way into the response. Run it all the time, unless there is an issue of it running out when you aren't there. In that case, like a small fountain at your office, you'd just shut it off at night and turn it back on in the morning. SkinQueen, Take a look at your 2010 Yearly chart - a bubbling fountain isn't the only option to activate that yearly Abundance start in the West. As for a fish tank...is there just a couple small fish in it for it's size, or are there a good representation of fish in it? A single, non-moving, or small fish would classify the water as "Moving water," unless the tank itself was small. Now look at your 20-year period and yearly stars. Which sector calls for the type of "water" your fish tank represents? Just don't place it in a bedroom. Much Love, Shawn

Where would I find this "2010 Yearly" chart and the "20-year period andyearly stars? Don't recall meeting up with them in my materials.
As for the bubbling fountain -- my question regards its placement, not its suitability as an activation option. I have a fountain and just want ensure I have it in position of abundance for 2010.
With respect to the fish tank -- it is a one gallion tank with four gold fish that are 3" to 5" in length. The tank had a filter (that behaves like a bubbling fountain -- pulling in water from the tank, passing through a filter and exiting out the overflow at the top). The tank is currently in the living room between the NE and N compass poisition.

That tank is between the NW and N compass position (long fingers).

The yearly Feng Shui is found in the Level Three / Time Feng Shui section of the Diamond edition of the course.
Your 20-year period may call for a bubbling fountain in a certain sector as well. This year, the center has a small bubbling fountain as a possible activation for the abundance star there.
Much Love,
Shawn
