Does anyone know how I can create my own fast finish sessions?

I guess the asking for speech compression is too much but at least being able to speed would be nice to get through audio material more quickly.

I really liked the concept of the Fast Finish here on the learning strategies corporation programs. With audio programs I might speed sections or review them with the fast speed. But I would like to have access to some type of program that might edit the file so that it can play at those speeds (x2-2.5 is ok).

Audacity is one option if you want to do it yourself. There is a program on the internet called Fast Finish. If you're just interested in playing MP3 faster without spending time converting them use Windows media player. You can increase the speed up to 8 times. I find 8 times is similar to the fast finish.

Thanks a bunch. I'll take a look at those programs. It'll be like upgrading my ipod.

On another note I much prefer VLC player over the media player.

I cant find the "Fast Finish" software, can you give me a link. The words for the search are so inespecific that nothing turns up.

The link had been provided on the forum before. I suggest using audacity since it's free.

I have a great program I use but it for Hardcore Self Improvement jukies like myself that listen to Alot of stuff. Go with audacity or Windows Media Player for now.

I tried audacity, and the speeding up process seemed to munchkin the voices too much for my taste, maybe I did it wrong.

Thanks for the replies, if there is any other programs I can check out for this purpose, money isnt an issue for these things, dont mind paying for the program if it delivers.
