Forums IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ PhotoReading, Memory Optimizer Need Help On PhotoReading.

Hi guys,

I bought the PhotoReading Whole Mind System reading program a few months ago. I have went through the first 2 audio discs and have tried to photoread some books but to no avail. I do not remember anything from the books at all... The dictionary game that scheele told us to try also did not work for me. I wonder if my age plays a factor in the process? i am 14 this year. I think Scheele did mention that we have to so called "unlearn" the traditional reading method first. Could this be a mental block of sorts?

I look forward to answers and advice regarding this matter.

I understand your frustrations. On a conscious level your not going to remember much of anything that you photo read. My advice to you is to keep going through the audio discs. The activate step to me is where I learn the most, the photoread step more or less is just used to aid me.

So its not related to mental block or anything? its lack of practice?

From what I understand you have only been through a few discs at the most of the photoreading system. Have you learned about activation yet?

not yet. i stopped as i was discouraged when the dictionary game did not work. went on for abit in the second disc and stopped. wondering if there is a problem that i need to correct from the start before i rush into things and waste my effort.

Keep this in mind, your not going to become a expert at photoreading, it takes practice. In a way you do unlearn the traditional method of reading. I understand how you feel as I was there myself at one point, even to this day I still have questions from time to time.

Remember this NOPS (notice it, own it, play with it, stick with it).

You can't learn anything new by doing it correctly right, more or less you need to get things wrong the first couple of times so you can better grasp the core concepts when you try again.

My advice to you is this: keep going through the system, listen to all the material that you have, DO NOT worry about games and what have you as those didn't concern me when I did it, and just have fun doing it. Just step up to the edge of what you know, and take the plunge.

Finish the course. If everything you needed to know about PhotoReading fitted onto two disk there wouldn't be 8 in the course

Keep going with it. Take everything you get as a learning experience. Don't be too discouraged about the dictionary game. It's a game and all new games beginners lose don't they? It wouldn't be a game if you always win. My experience with the dictionary game led me to tossing the book over my shoulder where it landed in the corner between two bookshelves. It too me some months to retrieve it from there. I never needed that dictionary again anyway. PhotoReading isn't about the dictionary game it's about getting your reading done faster. (some like the game more than others)

Just for the record I'm a PhotoReading Instructor and I didn't send the dictionary flying because I got inspiring results

Hey good for you finding this stuff so young, don't worry about it, Im sure some more practice and you will be grand, Try simple books first just to get your brain into the idea of the process, you will end up like good will hunting or something.....
