Is it possible to quote after photoreading?
If so how?
If you have photoread the material are you then able to bring up a mental photograph of the page and read of of it?

I'll take a stab at this. In some ways I can pull up mental pictures of pages, but this is seldom, and this is after practicing for about a year now. So in your case I would say no..your not going to be able to do that just yet. But even so the system teaches you that all words do not carry the main meaning. You need only a summary of what is important to you.

It is possible, however it goes somewhat deeper than mere Photoreading. However, you can train to it via many an old venue.

Such as flash cards, practicing with licence plates in parking lots, describing in detail whole scenes taken in at a glance etc.

And this is one dimension to a vast subject.

Thanks alot! I spent 2 months walking down a highway (long story, and this is the wrong place to tell it) and spent the entire time memorizing licence plates going by at 50. I try to mentaly photograph everything now.

I am VERY intarested in learning to mentaly picture pages. I have stalked several people who can do this, but stoped short of introducing myself to them. Any help at all on this subject would be awsome!

Diablo when you picture a page, can you actualy read the words?
Do you close your eyes?
Can you do this before "activating" it?
Can you just PR the book and then be able to see some or any of the pages?

I understand that this is a skill that it may take years to develope, but i already spent six months researching it and have already decided that it is worth the effort.

I really wouldn't be concerned with trying to pay attention to what you see on photo focus, activation is what you need to concern yourself about

An intaresting question, I tought my self how to speed read last year, by skipping all the unneccesary words. Could this be used as an activation tequnique?

You wouldn't skip words exactly. You've already PhotoRead them. Your mind and eyes will draw your attention to the parts the conscious mind needs so that you can recall it later. Since you've PhotoRead it all the words are in your mind.

PhotoReading puts the information into the long term memory. Activation is for the benefit of the conscious mind to build the neural pathways to make it easier to recall the information when or as you need it later.

Speed reading uses the short term memory and if you put that information into the long term memory then you have "skipped words" and you're trusting the mind to fill in the blanks correctly.

You realize though that you cannot really skip 'mentally photographing' as you speed read so far as concerns the 'unconscious'?

I do thank you. By skip, i mean i do not subvocalize those words.
