If you could PhotoRead all the books in the British Library in a year (talking non stop 24/7 PhotoReading here). It would take you 400 centuries to bring it to conscious awareness. Or to know and understand what you read.
Considering our average human lifespan is less than 1 century I want to be more more selective. For me it's not speed. I'm after the right knowledge that I can use to enjoy my life. That's why I have a purpose
Downloading books just because we can is like downloading software programs just because we can. It ties up computer memory and is useless if we never run the program. Why keep installing the same program over and over again?
We are already able to PhotoRead at 100,000 words a minute on the computer without making films.
The reason the patent text was used in the experiment that clocked 693,000 words a minute was because it was a document long enough to test at 35 pages a second. 350 pages is a mere 10 seconds hardly enough to get to the purpose of why you are reading a book.
