Hello Everyone. I am new to ES and to forums. I have never actually participated in one before, so this is a new experience for me.
I am wondering if I am the only one who does not actually "see" anything when I try to visualize - I have never been able to. I try to do the meditations, starting with the Inner Wisdom Meditation. I can sense being in another place - kind of the feeling and some sounds of being in a theater, but all I see is complete black. I don't know how to determine my image or object, and try to interact with and draw meaning from it, when I don't actually see anything. Does anyone else experience something similar? How do you work through it? I'm trying very hard not to get down that I can't do the very first exercise, but it is a little discouraging.
