Hi everyone,

Can somebody advise me about the listening positions they've had the most success with?

I always just lie down on my bed but I've realized recently that I tend to day dream or just fall asleep. I don't know if this is necessarily a bad thing, but I want to experiment with other arrangements to see if there is a difference.

Just today I tried sitting on a couch with my eyes closed and feet propped up. It felt comfortable enough but at the same time I think I was a little bit more alert as well.

Also, I really like to meditate so I was considering that as a possible listening position as well. Although a meditative posture looks pretty rigid and uncomfortable, I have enough experience that I can actually relax into it pretty well. In addition to this, I feel that the act of meditation itself will put me in both a more alert AND suggestive state.

Thoughts?

Thanks everybody!

Why don't you use the meditative position if you're able to?

I have a few times, and I have mixed feelings about it.

Anybody else try this before?
