Thanks so much for answering my questions Astrid.
You made my view shift and my eyes open with what you said about discipline, "resist doing something and at the same time we resist NOT doing it" ... genius. I kept blaming the things I had to do (too boring, tedious, not fun) or myself (slacker, not smart enough, procrastinator, etc), at the end it was easy to say that I did not have discipline. So, I thought that becoming disciplined would solve all my issues.
Thank you for opening my eyes. It is not discipline. It is me "resisting" doing things that have to get done. And, at the same time, it is me blaming myself for not doing those things (thus, resist not doing them). ... did I interpret that correctly?
Now the hard part, letting go of the resistance. Will work on that (any hints or advice would me much appreciated).
You are also spot on on the amount of things I want to do in a short time. I don't think my goals are a burden, it is just that 'the world around me' is making my goals seem unachievable. I also started the Effortless Success course, perhaps that is why my goals are sort of "life" goals instead of more immediate goals. I do realize that 'the world around me' IS me/my doing.
I will work prioritizing my goals. I guess, no, I AM trying to do "everything" I want to do and be at once.
Thank you so very much for your help and advice. I'm very impressed that a complete stranger could figure out the truth behind my questions so well.
Thank you Astrid. Your reply to my questions was much more helpful that I could have ever imagined.
