Hello, this is my first post on the forum. I started meditation, hatha yoga and energy practices five years ago with pranayama breathing, then started doing Taoist exercices including Tao Yin. Then I tuned into SFQ and its been my main focus ever since.

I've been practicing SFQ levels 1 and 2 from books/CD's/DVD's for soon a year now. I also bought the course manual for level 3 because I was interested.

I wake up 4.30 in the morning to find time for meditation. I do 1-2 hours a day, mainly emptiness meditation in full lotus, small universe, and randomly mixed standing exercices from levels 1 and 2. My plan is to soon increase my practice time to 3 hours a day.

I have done lots of healing on my children and their mother, it has worked well on earaches, headaches etc. Most remarkable I find my own spiritual healing process which has been happening over the last year or so. I have changed profoundly, more peaceful, more at ease, less lonely, no longer depressed.. and I'm not the only one who has noticed it. Everything in my life is running smoother because I am smoother.

My question is, is it at all advisable/possible to "advance" to practicing the meditations on level 3 without receiving personal teaching? I live in the countryside Finland with three kids and I have very limited possibility to travel to courses or classes. There are no SFQ trainers in this country and my dream is to one day start teaching it since I'm very impressed by Chunyi Lin and his system.

I plan to find time and money to fly to Netherlands for a workshop or two. But meanwhile, if someone can give their (more advanced?) insight to my question, I would appreciate that.

Love and bless, KK
