During the moving of yin & yang exercise we are to imagine a transparent column running from the top of our head to the bottom of our torso. The energy in this column is moving up and down.

Does this energy move in relation to our hands, or does it move at its own speed?

Does the energy move simultaneously up and down within the column? For example, up the back of the column while at the same time moving down the front of the column?

I feel the energy moving along with the hands. Like there's energy coming through the hands and that energy makes the energy in the body/column move.

In the book Chunyi says not to force the visualisation. So the imagery of the energy moving is good, but I tend to forget the visualising at some point and just concentrate on the feeling of Qi moving, which sometimes can also be quite a visual experience.

Aloha happymillionaire,

Simply bring your focus to the feeling the Qi from your palms has while interacting and strengthening that column.

Much Love,

Shawn
