Quick question about the use of the paraliminals. Some of them recommend listening to them every day for a week or more.

My quick question is: if you miss a day, does that mean that you should start again? Can anyone clarify this issue? Of course it's best if you keep to them every day but is there any harm missing one day?

Nah. If you miss a day just tag it on the end so you finish a day later. No need to start over. A week is a recommendation. You can play with them longer if you want.
