Forums IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ Diamond Feng Shui Determining the Facing Direction of a home

Hi, I am trying to work out the Facing Direction of my home. My understanding is that it is not automatically the compass direction of the front door that determines the facing direction. My front door opens onto a round pillar and the external wall of the garage which is to the left of the front door. On the right hand side of the front door is a large window which receives the most chi energy (ie. bright morning sun and has an open space in front of it). Therefore, should I take a compass bearing from the front door or from the large window at the front of the home? Many thanks for any advice.

If you are checking the mountain direction of your front door for the Level Three course's period, yearly, and monthly stars, then stand on the threshold of your front door facing outward and record the compass direction from there.
