It's not one size fit all. Nor one speed for all. Use superreading and dipping if you want to move that fast. Slow down and skitter the sections that are relevant and answer the question you are activating for. Each activation layer has questions without which you are going to wind up investing more time till you know you've got what you need.
Each layer is a maximum of 20 minutes for optimal learning. For activation of a text book I'd go with 6 minutes for a question. If I answer it in the first 3 minutes I go onto my next question. And I start where the answer to that question is likely to be. If it's on the last 5 pages I'm not wasting my time superreading and dipping the first 94 pages.
I've said this repeatedly, learn the system first on books away from textbooks. Get used to the idea that you don't have to start at the beginning of the book or chapter after PhotoReading it. Have you ever noticed that teachers had out assignments relating to textbooks without working through the textbook in the same sequence.
Build on your knowledge. That doesn't have to follow the same order as the book.
