Hi, I have been in a lot of pain since Friday. I thought it was a bad case of constipation but I had an xray yesterday that showed a kidney stone. I have only one kidney due to losing the right kidney to cancer in 1991. So I am very concerned about the stress on the remaining kidney. Can anyone here help dissolve the stone with the QiGong. Also what QiGong excercises would be most benefical?

Thank you,
Deb H

Yes. I think everyone around here would be more than willing to assist. Of that bat, I would suggest 7 steps in level 1, seeing as the kidney channels have more dominance in the legs and feet than the upper body and 7 steps does wonders for that.

If level 2, DO **Cloud Hands**, in that technique you slightly twist the spine at the dantien point while reaching outwards with your hands, (a miracle heal technique that's at the basis of bagua and some tai chi systems) I've jumped into bagua for a bit (I REALLY need to get back to that, that's evolutionary) and I can definitely attest to the fact that the slight twist of the spine during the Cloud Hands *really* opens you up. You can just feel the blockages melt away. It is because you are acting upon the dantient point, and "twisting" away the blockages.

I dont think Chunyi has addressed the "slight twist at the dantien point" while you are doing the Cloud Hands, because it happens anyways, and he probably doesnt want people to focus on if they are doing it right or not.

If you can, get some black sesame seeds and boil them in water, filter out the seeds and drink the broth. I have yet to try this myself, but apparently it works wonders for the kidneys.

Also, this came out of nowhere, but eat some extra apples if you get a chance... couldn't hurt.

Thank you Z. I don't know what happened but my kidney Dr brought me in for a cat scan and said I do not have a kidney stone, Hmmm...The xrays from my GP said there was, just 3 days before. I did still have back and pelvic pain for another week but things are feeling better now. Thank you for the suggestions. I have been doing them and I feel they are responsible for helping me to heal whatever it was that was wrong. Thanks so much...Deb

The visualization piece in the Self-concentration exercise on the Level One CD, is good for working with that. Adapt it to something sort and sweet you can do numerous time a day, seeing any blockages or stones turning to smoke, leaving , and the organ clear, healthy, and vibrant.

Much Love,

Shawn
