Any suggestions on how to do the PR step with officemates sitting closely by? Closing your eyes and relaxing in your chair might be taken the wrong way...also, I have lots of interruptions during my day, so I'm throwing out two issues:

1) Are there other ways to get into the proper PR state without closing your eyes; and

2) How do you concentrate on the other steps with continuing distractions in the office? (I've cut my sessions down to 10 minute increments instead of 30 to try to get through them without having an interruption, but still very difficult.)

Any suggestions?

Once you have trained the body mind connection you don't need to close your eyes, just take a couple of deep breath, defocus you eyes, and think 3 2 1. Remember to affirm your concentration and intention. You could be down to about 30 second after about 10 books.

Be sure to use the tangerine technique. That triggers the focus and concentration use it often. Not just for reading, also writing and meetings. Works well anytime you need to be there for something.
