I have been thinking about this today...what do I enjoy about being slim? I'm actually having trouble thinking of things. I'm thinking of more benefits of being heavy! See, I'm not so fat that it causes a big problem in my life. I can still hike and stuff, and it's not like I'm grotesquely huge. I actually excercise regularily in moderate amounts, and am not particularily unfit. The only thing I miss about being skinny is that it is so much easier to throw any old thing on in the morning when you are in a hurry, and still look presentable. Otherwise, attrativeness is a nuisance, some men leer, some women get catty and you don't understand why...plus, my life has been getting better and better the more weight I put on. Not because of the weight, but, life sucked a lot more during the time that I was skinny. I don't know? Should I just be fat and happy? I would like to put on a bathing suit and not feel self conscious when I take my son to the water park, but other than that, I don't think I really mind being heavy enough to diet. That is so weird, but it seems like that is why Ideal Weight is not working. Having said all that, though, there is still this driving force in me that remembers how nice it feels to be thin and fit. How healthy. And it misses it. Huh, I dunno. I guess I'll keep listening once a week, but put this issue on the back burner. I don't know what else to do about it right now if I actually like being fat!
