im a new to these stuffs, but i see that many things here, not just photoreading, is about getting to that certain brain state, like the paraliminal cds, etc.. i want to give these a try..

with this intention, i downloaded this brainwave generator (for free) which it seems that it gives all this brainwave technology for free.. e.g. to get into deep relaxation, meditative.. i know they don't have the function of the paraliminal tapes described here.. but just on relaxation, meditative.. does anyone know whether it's effective.. or compared to Paul's cd here.. wht's the difference? or the effectiveness..

Meditation is usually just quieting the mind. Beginners often lose the focus of any goal they are working on ortrying to reach. For that matter, even how to use meditation to help them toward their goals with meditation.

Relaxation is that, relaxation. But when you do it yourself how do you know you're doing it right. Usually people turn to relaxation techniques to "try" to relax more. Creating a pardox because to "try" implies expected diffculty.

Entrainment sound can aid the relaxation and meditation but even with our best intention we often have negative self talk come in. Between 60% and 70% of the stuff we say about ourself is negative. So more than half of your meditation and relaxation is negative self talk.

Over time when you use meditation you learn to reduce this negative self talk. We discover affirmation, NLP, EFT Sedona and other techniques to learn to notice what we say to ourselves.

Using Paraliminals you start to teach the mind positive self talk. Focusing on the outcome you desire not what you don't. It works to get you reaching your goals faster than without having to spend years just meditating to stumble on the best self talk to reach the goal you are working on today.

Using Paraliminals is like going into caves with a guide to show you the way.

Dear Heyson, I'm not trying to do an advertisement, but since you have brought up the subject, I thought you might want to know that there is such a thing called paramemory. It is a device created by the Japanese people and recommended by Prof. Makoto Shichida,an expert in right brain stuff. It's sort of like a walkie talkie just with a pair of earphone and it is supposed to be able to bring the listener to alpha or theta state, depending on frequency of sound the listener tuned to.
