Ever since my mother died in August, I haven't been doing my qigong excercises.

This morning I got up feeling kind of sluggish and stiff. I put in the level one DVD and did the active excercises. Then I listened to the consistent practice paraliminal----I felt noticably better after that. My mood was more positive the rest of the day.

So I'm going to get back into it.

My mother had stage IV ovarian cancer. I spoke with her a few times about SFQ. One day she did do the excercises with me.

I think it can be challenging for people late in life (and living with a serious illness) to learn something that's foreign to them. Unless a doctor recommends it. Doctors have power in that regard.

It's best to learn about things like qigong before it's "too late."
