Does anyone have experience with Post Polio Syndrome? I would appreciate any information and guidance you may have to offer. I'm now 82 years old, and had non paralytic polio when I was 13, almost 14 years old. Two little children -- one is my brother and the other a little girl (both about 2) suffered from paralytic polio then. I had stiff neck, high fever, could not get out of bed, nor lift my head for three days. Then it was gone, and I just went on with my normal very active life. No one even considered that I might have had the same disease as my brother who still has symptoms. Over the years I've had nerve damage, pain and an increase in muscle difficulties and feel very weak. If you have experienced this, or know someone who has, I'd be grateful for your advice.
