In 'more recent times' yes, for the most part. SFQ purifies the energy of the body-mind and allows the soul, then Spirit, to become manifest to you. Actually it is already manifest, but we 'typically' are not aware of it.
Any energy practice, will yield in such revelatory experiences, if one stays with the practice and is determined. Though, I've had experiences though my whole life, many at a very young age--yet, in the more recent years, they have become more unified. While I can talk about philosophical views--ways of looking at yourself and the world 'outside' of you, that will lead to revelation, I don't/can't talk much about any revelatory experiences themselves for various reasons.
Mainly, Revelation of Perfect Oneness is something that cannot be described by any language in this world. It is a very personal experience. Language is symbol-based and can be obscure--experience of Oneness is direct and not symbolic. We can use emotional descriptions such as love or bliss or joy, but even those feelings described are 'fragments' of the Real thing. One of the 'more accurate descriptions' I could give would be:
'Knowledge of your Oneness with God--is boundless, joyful-loving-bliss, that is Eternally Now and Always, for there is nothing else but this. There is no limit of your Knowledge, nor the idea of limits. It is a state where conflict, simply does not exist.'
^ contemplate the above paragraph as one 'super emotion' that you are blended with, and bring it into your energy.
While I do not 'claim' to be enlightened (that word is just a label to me) or a Master. I can tell you with great assurance, that awareness of your Original state--IS the answer. You won't want or possibly need anything else. Working with any energy purification practice and having the intent to share you your love--seeing everything as connected and dissolving conflict, will inevitably lead to you Awakening.
