I would like to get a better understanding of some Yin and Yang exercises. Chuni explains, that the back channel goes up and the front channel goes down. During the moving the yin and yang exercise, he says to imagine the energy going up and down the transparent column in the torso. If the front channel only goes down, why should there be energy going up? So I thought it means that the column is the whole upper body and it goes up the back of the column and down the front. Is that what is supposed to be visualized?

Also in the walking exercise the Yin and Yang cicle is being formed by moving of the hands. If the Yin and Yin go up and down how would that be represented in side by side movements?

Also in the first exercise 'energy breathing', it's expained as the Yin being the upper body and Yang the lower body. It's a little confusing to get the picture of where the channels are, and how we access those channels. I would appreciate some clarity on this.
