Has anyone overcome a candida problem (colon) with Spring Forest Qigong without using the Anti-Candida Diet?

Comment: By this is meant restoring yeast balance in the colon. This query concerns a diagnosis over two years ago of yeast overgrowth (imbalance), Stage 3 (advanced). At that time, on this Forum, Shawn Grim sent an encouraging message about candida and SFQ. Although I do a lot of SFQ, it is my understanding the candida imbalance cannot be corrected unless one successfully follows an Anti-Candida Diet for at least three months and probably longer.
After experimenting for two years with trying to follow the diet, there seems to be no way for me to do that. There has been NO progress even though doing Spring Forest Qigong. More guidance is welcome.
It would be so helpful in using SFQ to know that even ONE
person has successfully used SFQ without diet and got the yeasts in balance. If they have, how much time per day for SFQ?

I don't know of someone personally, MB. friends Like with any issue though, there is, as Chunyi would say, "The Laws of Life." SFQ can assist balancing a great deal of things, [i]and[/a] proper personal nutrition, sleep, exercise, and emotional balance all play a part.

One friend of mine is developing some work with digestion, qigong, and mandalas. She also mentioned that some friends of hers have had some good result with their candida while also working with a knowledgeable Naturopath.

Much Love,

Shawn

what was the diet you was meant to follow, i.e. the foods?, a important aspect of qigong is diet.

also illness can be your starting point into looking for qigong, but you would need diet as well to cure your illness.

First thanks to you, Shawn. I appreciate your messages.

Here's a reply for The Master. The anti-candida diet is basically a no sugar, very low carbohydrate foods diet that emphasizes green vegetables and meat, chicken, and fish. If interested, you can do an Internet search to find out more.
I certainly agree that a healthy diet is important. My problem with the anti-candida diet is that I'm used to a healthy vegetables, fruits, grains, diet with some meat, chicken, and fish. On the anti-candida diet, I can't get enough protein to make up for the forbidden carbohydrates since I don't like to eat meat, etc., at so many meals. I hope this gives you enough info in answer to your question. Blessings, MB.

that is a good diet, for stomach problems, while still keeping all the nutrients in the diet, also on that diet you should just drink water as well, once your stomach healed you would probably be able to have the odd treat now and again.

the idea is to learn how to heal yourself, and it is actually similar to a qigong diet in a way, the diet you listed above.

it would also help other stomach problems as well.

Heya, been a while since I've been online...

MB, follow the above advice and you might also want to consider fasting for a couple days or so, it'll give your organs a wonderful chance to heal (because they can use their 'normal' processing energy to heal instead of working with food substances, etc) ironically, this seems like you'd have 'less' energy, but you'll gain more. If 'not eating' is too much, try the 'apple fast' (eating an apple for every meal for 3 days)... in fact, I might have to do that myself. (I've never actually tried that yet)

"After experimenting for two years with trying to follow the diet, there seems to be no way for me to do that. There has been NO progress even though doing Spring Forest Qigong"

as for comments like that, you gotta pay attention to how you treat yourself mentally. Beleifs can be very powerful and the sub-concious mind takes that kind of stuff litterally, when thoughts like that come up, see yourselve forgiving them (wrap them with light/love if that helps) and visualize them 'dissolving in the Light' and then just let them be. (repeat if necessary) Don't try to 'get rid of them' ...but definately don't over-look your inner dialog. Not to say you should get carried away and try to 'watch all of your thoughts' but just be a little more careful what you tell yourself.

Hope that give you a glimpse of my 'angle' on the subject.

Thanks, Zakyrus, for the reminder on inner dialogue.
