I have noticed a tendency in me to start doing tasks immediately when they occur to my mind. I mean, without considering if the task something that benefits me or my work in general. This pattern usually interrupts any other task that takes longer that 10 minutes to accomplish.
Another observation, When I sart doing anything I immediately associate to the image, where I do the task, whether the image contains enough data to start the task or not. This means that when the task is easy, I do it immediately (as I described above). And if the task is not clear, I get stuck! I just sit there and hesitate, and wait and hesitate. It seems I have no strategy to gather more information and to dissociate from the task. (OK, I think that I have strategies, but they are not effective enough).
Does this all mean that if I run into a not-well-defined task, it stays as my companion whole my life? If I have no good strategy to dissociate from the task, it actually seems so. I must have a whole lot of unfinished "difficult" tasks associated to my body
.........
There is one other thing that may be in connection with this: I do my best not to breath with my neck, upper chest and shoulders. And this is the very place where I put all the tasks when I associate to them!
I hope that writing this message here helps me to deal with this "problem". As you see, I have described my strategy to do any task. And changing this strategy is just another task! So I'm using the very same strategy that I want to change to change the strategy...? Sounds complicated? yes it is! Usually computers when they have to do tasks with circular reference either get stuck or refuse to do the task, depending from the program. Luckily I'm a human being and I have other choices!
p.s.
I would like to stress that this "problem" has been with me all the time and is NOT caused by Get Around To It paraliminal. It has just become more evident to me recently.
