For me my blocking or resistance was a trust issue, at the beginning I could not trust the message or the messenger...possibly I couldn't trust my subconscious mind to deal with message in a constructive way too. By gradually seeing the value in Paul Scheele's work and believing in his goodness and good intent I could see that he really does create excellent material. As for the receiver of the message, seeing gradual and sometimes immediately wonderful results I learnt to trust my subconscious mind to produce constructive results.
You could try using the paraliminals themselves in the way you desire to create trust, if you feel that that is the concern.
