You're having trouble understanding the meaning?
If you want to improve your memory I suggest looking it up in the dictionary or using the online dictionary. Use that along with your translation dictionary.
That means use the English dictionary and then use your language dictionary to understand it. The more associations you make the easier it is to understand and improve your memory because you are using more of your memory threads.
