Just wondering whether you have a specific ritual for Qigong ? Do you practice inside or outside ? Play music, burn incense or essential oils etc..

I tend to quite like Sandalwood as a meditative oil. Sometimes music helps but can sometimes hinder. In fact the white noise produced by a computer fan can be more relaxing....

ALoha Jazz,

Sandlewood or a vetavir are personal favorite scents of mine, and at some point you will notice that the smells, sounds, and sights around you are unneeded. That being said, take the time to set yourself up to be uninterupted and clear of external distractions - whether it be quiet, or an easy going, or white noise. Scents or not, and whatever amount of light is relaxing for you. You are basically seting your environment up in the same way you are setting up your senses with your active exercises - movement gives your body a way to check out by doing something monotinous, music gives your hearing a way to check out, Visualization to tame the mind, etc.

Much Love,

Shawn
