Sorry about the huge delay.
I'm getting on pretty well anyway. I must be honest though I am more excited by the idea of pulling out keywords than the actuall PhotoReading stage. I'm kind of breaking the rules, rather than pulling out just 10 – 20 keywords I'm pulling out over 100 (as many most relevant to that subject as I can find) which does have an enormous when I re-read the books using the 4% - 11% idea.
I am currently not very concerned about the PhotoReading step itself working, but I am still doing it and following the incubation step also, but yeah the Trigger Words step is fantastic. I was using an iPad app that speeds up text to 4'000 WPM and since it was too fast for me to read I got the idea of at least trying to spot Trigger Words that will grab my attention which would help me when I lower the speed so I can actually read it, but never did I even think about writing the words down which should have been so obvious.
Having the Trigger Words on a big page that I can look at every once in a while also reminds me of all of the important aspects, and of course enhances my connection with the material.
Thanks very much for the replies, I have read them and they are very helpful, but as I said I'm not really worrying about the PhotoReading process, the idea's in the entire program are amazing, especially the part about having a purpose (I know that's important for anything you do, but I would have never in my life have gone into it so much when reading a book)
About listening to the program over and over, I know it's better to learn by doing, but I have a habit of drilling all of the most important points into my head over and over before I begin doing anything, I basically sat there for days writing most of what I was listening to into Open Office and I have now rearranged it all into separate files for each stage. I know there is no need to do that, but since it's a long process, I just think and think about what I'm writing. Ready to really dig in now though.
