Does highlighting sections of a book during preview/postview help to increase the effectiveness of absorbing the knowledge through photoreading? I'd imagine that it would as the colors make a more vibrant cue for your mind to notice, but i would like to hear some opinions

Highlighing should reserved for activation. That's when and were you build conscious comprehension. Knowledge comes through using and teaching what you learn.
