Forums IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ Diamond Feng Shui Apartment Questions

I'm working through Level 1 and I have a couple of questions having to do with living in an apartment.

• Is the entrance to my home considered the entrance to my apartment or the entrance to the building?
• The building has a split staircase just inside the entrance. There are recommendations in the course for directing the flow of energy up or down, however I don't have much control over the rest of the common areas in the building. Also, I don't want to pull energy to me to the exclusion of my neighbors. What do I do to get a "fair share" of the flow?

Point 1:
The entrance to your apartment is where you enter your home. So it is the entrance to YOUR apartment. The Entrance to the building is useful, however it is used in a different way in later levels.

I can see the moral dilemma that you feel you are faced with. You can activate energy to be drawn to your apartment create a space for it to gather and then direct it on. It is important that you do not feel guilty about allowing energy to flow to you. By allowing it to gather so that you may capture some and then moving it on will hep you out here.

Thank you again, although I'm not sure how to do so at the moment. Currently I'm planning to put an artificial peach blossom wreath on my door, probably with some other elements incorporated.

Usually in apartments, you have your door to work with regarding adding attention and inviting the Qi flow. Make sure lighting on the way to your apartment door is working (report it to your building managers if a bulb is out), and the area clean.

You can always work with visualisation, picturing beautiful, supportive Chi coming to your door. You can make a small quote about positive Chi flow coming to your door and place it in one of your success directions. There is always enough good Chi for everyone.

As for applying the feng shui especially time feng shui:
if you own an apartment, than you take into consideration your own front door. You do the feng shui according to the direction of your own door.
If you rent, you do the time feng shui in your apartment according to the direction of the main-front door. It is always good before you rent or buy to check the degree of the main door and the flaying stars combinations in the area of the apartment. The flaying stars of the whole building will affect you even if you own your place and do feng shui based on your front door.
