Almost a year ago I lost someone very dear and close to me. Back then it literally hurt. Now I still feel an empty place in my heart where he was. Just the tiniest thing can get me crying my eyes out, still...
Are there any paraliminals that can help me get through this? That can help me let go?

Thanx

Hi Angelina:

You might consider "New History Generator", using the opening idea of being able to get a proper perspective on what this person meant to you and to generate a new history where you can still hold him in your heart, and do it with a different type of energy attached to his passing. Focusing on the different paths, you can use these to review, in a safe environment, your relationship with this person, comfortably remembering the good times, and ultimately, finding your way along your own solo path, but with good memories intact to help.

Just a suggestion.

Hi Angelina,
I've learned that nothing ever completely removes the pain, time eventually dulls it & faith that only their body is gone also helps...I know it may sound frivolous, but I listened to Holiday Cheer when serious family problems occured this year. For some reason that took some of the sadness away & gave me renewed interest in moving on with my life.. I hope this helps...I did't know if anyone else would suggest Holiday Cheer..
I hope peace will come to you.

Hi Angelina

I am currently going through the ending of a 9 year relationship. I know that is not the same thing as having someone die; yet I still feel the change as a great loss in my life. When I am feeling overwhelmed by the feelings, or sad about the breakup, I use the Positive Relationships paraliminal. I find that after I listen to it I feel less sad or hurt or angry. I know it is working because I recognize I am handling my feelings better after I listen to it.

Others are noticing that I am not crying all the time or depressed and I am doing things I enjoy doing and can talk of fun I am having in my life in spite of the hurtful and sad changes.

I have a great deal of gratitude to Paul Scheele and Learning Strategies for this particular paraliminal.

I also use this paraliminal when something triggers the sadness I still hold over the loss of my cat, Carl Smith. He died a little over a year ago but sometimes the grief will reemerge. Then Positive Relationships helps me to remember the positive parts of having people (or cats) in my life that I love dearly....even though the relationships change.

Hope this makes sense and is helpful to you.

I think, too, after reading this thread I will try some of the other paraliminals suggested.

My wish for you is that in time you are able to allow the memories of loving to be bigger than the pain of the loss.....

Blessings
Nickie

Hi,

Thanx all for your replies and suggestions. And as for losing pets, I know this can really hurt. I guess I'm having a hard time with letting go without forgetting (if that makes any sense at all, but I have no idea how else to put it.)
And Nickie, my best wishes to you in these difficult times.

Love, Angie
