Hi..

I have the New Behaviour Generator but I am confused in how to use.

Firstly, can you work on more than one limiting behaviour/goal at a time or is it best to concentrate and get results from one issue before you begin working on another.

Secondly, if working on Problem X, do I to listen to Session A and then follow on later (with a gap of at least 20 mins) with Session B - ie always listen to Session A and then Session B when working on "one" particular issue. Or do I listen to Session A (identify limiting behaviour) once only and then listen to Session B (modelling) as many times as necessary.

Thirdly, when listening to Session A, I find that there is no opportunity to really analyse the limiting behaviour in detail (in my case I use a word or two to describe) but then I "almost" forget the words immediately as I get carried away or lost in listening to the paraliminal. With Session B, when l identify the positive behaviour traits of my model, I find there is not much space to really analyse my models behaviour/character traits (again one or two words come to mind to describe). So this feels like I am "loosely" trying to model and then again this is quickly forgotten, as I get lost in listening to the paraliminal.

What should I be thinking as I listening to the paraliminals? Should I be concentrating on the words that I have thought of to describe my limiting behaviour (Session A) or my role model (Session B). Or should I identify key words in answer to the questions and then just forget them and go with the flow of the session.

It feels like nothing is happening because I am not being asked to analyse of break down my limiting behaviour or my models behaviour. It feels like I am being asked to just think about it and then let go.

Hope this makes sense.

Please advise.

Hi Eugene
Your concious mind thinks it needs to analyse to get work done. Your unconsious mind already knows how to do it. Your consious mind does not know what you do not know, your unconcious mind knows what you do not know that you know. Your concious mind likes to add and divide and calculate and derive while your unconsious mind is already aware of the whole.

One of the reasons the paraliminals work so well, is that it allows you to BYPASS the consious mind, and utilize the amazing ability of the unconsious mind. Trust the unconsious mind, allow yourself to let go of analysis just for a while, and let your analytical mind look for evidence of change in the days that follow.

All the best

Hi vita-man

Thank you for your response. What you say makes a lot of sense. I can now see that I am approaching this from a “logical” point of view – i.e. my conscious is getting in the way.

I shall let go and just go with the flow.

With regard to the listening format, please advise. Should I always listen to both Session A and B together, or should I listen to Session A “once” and then Session B as many times as required.

Eugene

Nope it is not always necessary to listen to Session A then B for a problem. Sometimes one or the other session has all you need. So don't be surprised if sometimes you get the feeling you should be listening to Session B and have never done a Session A for it. Go right ahead and do the session B perhaps first and only.

Also it can be you need to do session A (or B) a number of times before you are ready to continue with the next level and do the other session. So do 2, 3 or even 5 session A's before doing a session B. Once you've heard both sessions you mind will be able to guide you to the correct listening pattern if you will allow it.

Hi Eugene,

I just stumbled across this post and I wondered how it's working out for you. I have the same cd but I haven't found the time to listen to it since shortly after I got it, but I had some of the same questions that you had. Hopefully, you will see this post and report on your progress.

Thanks,

Rob

Hi Rob

Thanks for your interest.

Well, in answer to your question, I have just “let go” of trying to figure it out. I just listen - anyhow. Sometimes, I mostly hear or listen to what is said in the left ear and at other times the right. It’s quite random really; sometimes I just dip in and out of listening to either side. But then at some point, no matter which side is more dominant, there comes a point where you hear both sides simultaneously and at that point I drift off, listening to neither. I guess this is the point.

I tend to listen to the NBG side B (and not side A Reframing).

I have only listened to the tape (side B) a handful of times, but I can honestly say that I have noticed a subtle difference within myself. And for the record, I haven't listened to the tape for almost 2 weeks, and yet I am still walking around with this slight difference in behavior. I say slight because I am not yet where I want to be, but that said, my “new behaviour” is definitely getting stronger and I am feeling a lot more comfortable with it. So far, I have only worked on one aspect of the behaviour that I would like to change, so I have quite a way to go. It will be interesting to see where this tape can take me.

Hope this makes sense.

Eugene
