I experienced a successful result with Belief yesterday.

Sometimes a person will approach me asking for money when I am in a public area. I don't mind giving money, as I earn enough that I have some to spare. The problem is that I used to feel guilty if I did not give money.

I used the Belief Paraliminal with the statement "I control my generosity."

I was asked for money yesterday. I simply said "I'm sorry, but I don't carry any cash." I did not feel any guilt. It was very liberating.

I think the trick to changing beliefs is to state the new ones in a win-win way. I could have stated my new belief as "I'm keeping the money that I've earned," but that sounds selfish and would be in conflict with my belief in the joy of giving.

Stating "I control my generosity" gives my financial goals a validity equal to others', and delivers to me the choice of what I do with my money.

Having recently accepted that I have a spending habit, I can now state a new belief of "I control my financial flow." This is cool stuff!
