Anna.

I doubt that you are controlling in every aspect of every relationship. This one obviously does irk you as it seem to have gone from doing stuff together to ignoring you. It seems to me that you're not the only one in that relationship that would benefit from the Positive Relationship Paraliminal.

Now be careful about throwing the control issues onto yourself. (As in wanting to control yourself too much.)

It appears you are ready to move on from that relationship. That naturally means that you don't need to conrol him to know why he did what he did, right?

If you want to learn from this and move on use the New History Generator Paraliminal for this Relationship. You may never fully understand why you wanted to control that particular relationship, he may have been pushing the right button for you, been too much of a couch potato for you, he liked playing the role of a victim (and you didn't let him) or just been too plain boring for you. So not to get stuck in his world you took control. Why him? Sounds like he was accessible. You could also look at it this way. You taught him how to be proactive too.

So don't go beating yourself up, you're not broken and you don't need fixing. You just need to stay flexible and try something else.

So now would be a good time to use the New History Generator. Also you might need Anxiety Free if there is still the strong desire to know why he cut you off. Come back to Postitive Relationships when you're ready to find new firendships and relationships. For situations where you know you'll be seeing him at a course where it's possible that you may or may not talk. Use Session B of Positive Relationship

Could you give us some references for further study on positive relationships?
Books? Websites? Other programs?
Thanks!
