It works well. It's also nice to experiment with different wavelengths that are known to do certain things. Just be careful of going too high in Beta or even higher without grounding in a low alpha to delta wave.

You can make a few sessions for CD with it by recording .wav files and then writing those to CD.

Search this forum for things like brainwave generator, beta, alpha, theta, and delta etc.

There are two types of sessions that you can create:- shortterm effect sessions like a relaxation session and longterm effect sessions like those similar to the healing effect of holosync or other healing programs. You might also use the sessions for learning, photoreading, or afformations, or maybe bring out your creativity for ideas, or solve problems that you face. Some sessions if you use them a lot can be used to induce more frequent lucid dreaming.

It is really a wonderful journey of exploration which had me gripped for a very long time.

Remember the Paraliminals already have an Alpha and Theta entrainment. What ever you do with a
brain wave generator may mismatch it so the results can be less effective.

Oh ok thanks for the advise. So would using paraliminals alone be enough??? It all soo confusing. I just want to get rid of this anxiety and have some more confidence.

Defcon83,

Paraliminals enough for what?

What are you trying to achieve?

Stay with the confusion.

Ask more questions.

Paraliminals are enough for what they are used for. That is changing conditions in your lives to something you prefer. The entrainment on the Paraliminals help you to relax into the listening session.

Ordinary entrainment without verbal instructions like Paraliminals are largely self directed. You need to know what you want to focus on unless you are just planning passive meditation.

Most entrainment is focued on alpha and theta for a meditative state. Some add delta entrainment for better sleep or even to develop the skill of remaining aware at delta. They have been using Beta to assist ADD and ADHD related problems. There is still a lot of interesting research going into brainwave patterns and entrainment.

For general meditation alpha theta is what you need.

The Paraliminals already have the alpha theta entrainment and the 'stories' to help your mind focus on your purpose.
