I love koans, metaphores, symbolism and parables.It is one way the consious and other-than-consious minds can communicate. One nice thing about them is that the listener/thinker can get from them the most apporopriate meaning for them at that time.
With that in mind, the question you asked me is a question you can pose to your own subconsious mind...
When I was writing to Blue Butterfly, the story came to my mind- my subconsious was trying to communicate with me, to communicate with her subconsious mind, so her subconsious mind could in turn communicate with her. Her meaning, is between her subconsious and consious, unique to her.
If she wishes to share it, it will be nice- but it may be deeply personal...
The story for me, at this time, speaks of gratitude for the wonderful things I have in life- there is much peace and happiness in gratitude and aknowledgement of what is. Wanting more can sometimes lead to suffering for me, as wanting impies lacking- especialy in my spiritual life.
But that is me...
