I have had a toothache for 4 days. Aspirin fixes the problems for a few hours, but it is not the solution. The dentist, without seeing me on this occasion, recommended antibiotics, as she usually does, although she knows I won't take them as I believe their side effects far outweigh their benefits. When I have any health problem, I see my acupuncturist. So I did this morning, but so far no clear relief from the pain.

Last night, I tried Perfect Health, but got very restless while listening to it so I stopped. A few minute ago I decided to dowse which Paraliminal in my Ultimate You library would be best for my toothache. The response, which I think is unbiased since I have no preference for any Paraliminal in particular, was New History Generator. So I am going for it. I see the merit of this choice as I tend to be in resistance alot about issues at work. I do use Holosync almost every day for 60 or 90 mins when I wake up in the morning.

I read through the New History Generator booklet. I found that in no part of it there is any mention when to move from Part A to B. So my questions is: how will I know when I will have listened to Part A long enough to move to B? Also, once I have listened to Part A several hours before bed, can I just listen to the Sleep Track on continuous while I am falling asleep or do I need to listen to Part A again, then put my iPod on continuous and fall asleep?

Thanks!

Sick with session A. You probably won't need session B at all.

I'd just use the sleep track later after a normal listening session.

Hi Uniquesoul
Dowsing- that is great! I believe it to be one of the greatest ways to communicate with the subconsious mind. I use a pendulum myself, and sometimes use ideomotoric signaling with clients.

My long time good friends own a clinic- he is a counselor, she has a PhD in natural medicine. She has taken it to a high art, using muscle testing to discover allergies, verify treatment plans, locate problems, etc. See RARELY condones drugs and surgery...but I do know of a few cases when the muscle testing strongly indicated it was the right choice.

I know, you want me to get to the point...

Could you use your dowsing to ask about a range of choices about treating your toothache? I prefer natural methods, as my nickname suggests. But, in the world of all possible choices, and a potentialy serious problem, you could include it in the mix.

Maybe dowse after calibrating to 3 responses- yes, no, and maybe/I dont know.

Of course, paraliminals are always useful---
I hope you are feeling better soon!

Thanks for your message, vita-man. You can dowse to get a number of answers, eg you can draw like a clock on a piece of paper and calibrate a variety of answers according to the numbers of the clock. I prefer the simple YES-NO and go by sequence of questions to get my reply. Sometimes it is tricky to remain unbiased when you ask questions about yourself.

Hi everybody,

What exactly is dowsing? I might know the proces but not the word (in english that is...) and my dictionary is not a great help either.

You do dowsing with a pendulum or rods. It's one way some people find water in the ground. You can dowse any response.

Hi Angie
I started with ideomotoric signaling in hypnosis, which may be why I believe it is consious/subconsious communication. Some people give it other explanations...

If you want to learn, there are dowsing groups you could join, but there is also a cute little book called "the pendulum kit" available at new age and alternative bookstores. It is a reasonable way to explore the art. (I often use a necklace or even a rubber band with a paperclip on it!) Almost anything will do, but the little book can give you training and guidance on structuring questions and calibrating responses.

A popular game among women is to dangle a threaded needle over a pregnant friends abdomen, and ask if it is a boy or girl...they get mixed results, because they don't practice seriously, but it is still dowsing!

Hey uniquesoul..
How is your tooth? What ever happened?
Hope it is all better now...

The tooth is much better thanks to acupuncture and homeopathic drops. However, the acupuncturist said that I do not let go of issues I should. So there is an emotional role in any ailment, so the Paraliminals can play a role in healing. I did use New History Generator a couple of times.

Hi uniquesoul

I am glad you are feeling better, and got the bonus information about what you can do to improve! That itself is very valuable.

I hang on to stuff more than I should at times also. Sedona has helped alot, and Natural Brilliance has helped alot too.

There was a great natural dentist here who used homeopathics and herbs. He moved on to cosmetic dentistry---what an irony! I know another who uses chinese medicine and acupuncture as well as western medicine...almost all the surgery he has done was with cloths pins on my earlobes, and it was pain free dentistry!

Good to hear that you have been able to find holistic dentists. I am in Australia: they are rare here. My dentist tries to be holistic as much as she can so that I am happy. Still, whenever there is an infection in my mouth, she recommends antibiotics, which I refuse to take. I have proven to her that acupuncture can heal even a stubborn infection.

I do have the Sedona Method, but have not used it much. I should, since it is effective.
