In my early years I also did not like to read at all... it was booring, frustrating, and was almost falling asleep when my eyes glanced over the words... and the next words... and the next... sleep... SO I tried photoreading, and I can say wow.. Now when I read i first have a purpose, and a question I would like to have an answer on, then I search the book/dokument and find it.. Then I have another question, search, find.. Question search find. It feels like you are having really much fun, because the questions are questions of some meaning value to yourself. And the thing that you actively search is fun... you dip and read, dip and read.... It feels like a driwing force that you just want to have answered these questions when reading.. Sometimes I get so high of it that i have difficulties calming down*gg*.... It so fun.. You are then doing something you like and want in your life. It never gets bored that way.. Skimming pages, searching and finding is so fun... Just love reading...*s*... Good luck to you Whitehair..

By the way, it's how I read subject litterature, not stories and such things like Stephen King and the Harry Potter books.. Then I read from the beginning to the end.. If a book does not grab me, I'll throw it out*S*.... that simple.
