I tested my new Boundless reneval course and the voice of Bernie Saunders. I find it distracting him gasping for air in the middle of sentences. He sounds ashmatic to me. Not a good subliminal message (I myself have so-called ashma and am hopefully getting rid of it soon).

Any comments?

Hi O:

I know where you're coming from on that one - I have another downloaded hypnosis session (something called Future-Trance), which in itself has really good info, but I cannot listen to it because the way the guy breathes puts me into an asthma attack every time.

You'd think these guys would be aware of something like that, wouldn't you? This particular guy was trying to get us to take deep breathes at the beginning of the session, but he sounded like a worn-out bag-pipe!

Cheers!
Unis

Hi Unis,

yes, you would think they know what tehy are doing! Unfortunately there are crouwds of "therapits" who know absolutely nothing about teaching their skills! (If they have any skills to begin with...)

I don't yeat know what to make of the course, but I think I'll go through it at least once, before deciding anything. Anyway, I liked teh basic tone of Bernie Saunders's voice, so maybe the course will be beneficial (and there's also the recommendation from Grant, that's why I bought the course).

When you find stuff like that you really need to ask yourself why you are letting it hook you. It's your choice. Nothing can make you fell bad unless you let it.

If you have the Abundance For Life course you are familiar with the feeling exercise, use it. Believe it or not those little irritations and imperfections in recordings are really only an indicator it is a human being guiding you and not a cold robot. It's how you choose to go with it that is your decision.

For a bonus:

I think my IQ went up a point or two.

LS mentions the reflection process in Boundless Renewal strengthens Image Streaming ability.

Hi Alex and Grant,

Thanks for the encouragement! To Alex I can answer that I know I'm very vulnerable to such subliminal messages. I tend to imitate them, even if I know of it consciously. The question remains what for am I vulnerable? If I can answer that, I can answer a whole lot of questions unanswered so far!

Where do you get the idea imitating someone else is bring vulnerable? Isn't it just a way of trying on their style to see if it fits. Especially when you are listening to them for their guidance and advice?

It happens when you idealise someone else's teaching. You take on their inflections to discover their persona because they are teaching you their ideas that worked for them. To be like them. I don't think it's a bad thing. It's an experiential thing. Like trying on the shoes to see if they fit. You might have to change the style a little for your comfort.

That's what happens when you learn from others. They say imitation is the nicest form of flattery.

Hi Alex

And thanks for provocating thoughts. I can see you are doing your best to break my trance (at least that's what's slowly happening.) Your comments make me go deeper to find the answers and at some point I will see the whole thing in an entirely different light. I'm aware of that possibility all the time.

To continue the discussion: I think I'm "vulnerable" because the "bad" things tend (have tended?) to stay in my behaviour and the good ones tend (tended?) to go away.

Usually I take the whole package, the whole person, and take every behaviour they demonstrate and try them on to see if they fit. I sort of become that person. I'm Bernie Saunders right now, I listened a part of the course in the morning?

...And somehow it usually has happened so that the unpleasant behaviours stay longer or forever (!?) Obviously I need them for something? Otherwise I wouldn't choose to take them as my behaviour. Now we are getting somewhere. This is something for me to think about.

Hi all,

I dug up this old post because I have found out some answers to the last question.

To make a long story short, I found an internal voice right beside my right ear explaining me in a very pleasant and patient voice, how "it cannot be doen, you have to understand how things are, that's how life is" etc. That was the answer to my wanting anything in life, especially wanting to feel good in my life. "It cannot be don". yikes!

As you can see, it took me 13 months to find the answer. Somehow this belief had squirmed it's way into one of my core beliefs. Of course, as soon as I found it, I ran the voice and my reactions backwards to get rid of it.

Life seems very different now. I have been waiting long for this moment, not only 13 months, but 12 years, since I started my self-development.

It'äs funny how that belief made the persons dearest to me act sometimes very rudely to me. I was just wondering how it was possible. Apparently I had an unconscious want to avoid pleasant voices and my family and best friends reacted to my unconscious want.

Also this belief led me to find more and more unpleasant memories of things that had never happened to me. last night I dreamed of atom ombs exploding, and finally decided this is too much!

As I said in the message above, I have had the habit of "collecting" unpleasant feelings or strategies from other people. No more of that now.

What did it take to finally come to htis? Well, as far as I know, the best course that helped me is Boundless renewal. And to be specific, I started drawing after that course and it has been the best help to me. All the other cources sort of bounced back from my belief, including natural brilliance, even SFQ was much too ineffective. As you can see from the beginning of this thread, I was not much impressed by Boundless renewal and Bernie Saunders at first, but I did not give up either.

Hi all,

Changing this belief has released a whole lot of stuff. I feel the changes I make now are more permanent. Earlier the changes I made were mostly reversible (of course not all of them).

I have now more trust in the future. Also I have noticed that another course has helped me a lot: Resiliency. I wetn through a case of burnout a couple of weeks a go. Now I feel it's one of the best things ever happened to me. ;-)))
