How did you go about using them?
I'm using them at the moment, with interesting results. Basically, I uploaded side A onto my ipod in WAV format, and listen to it on repeat all night while I'm sleeping. I'm continuing smoking as much as I desire during this process.
I've been listening nightly for around one week.
I'll also often listen to it while I'm on the bus, etc...
The last couple of days have been interesting. Totally inadvertantly, I've been smoking SIGNIFICANTLY less without noticing. Actual cravings for nicotine are virtually indetectible, and this is steadily seeming to become a habit, rather than an addiction. And I'll tell you, my addiction was really, really bad.
I plan on listening nightly in this way for another week or so. Given the huge changes over the last few days, I'm sure I'll be more than ready by then.
I think the idea is to get to the point where you're chomping at the bit and excited about stopping, and where any illusion that you're 'giving something up' is totally obliterated.
Once I stop completely, I plan on listening to side B in the same way- on repeat while I sleep each night and during any transit period.
I don't see any reason why using the paraliminal won't work for you again. Maybe you just need to intensify the listening?
Also, the Allen Carr books are great for disparaging the myths around the smoking mindset.
ALL THE BEST!!!
