After listening to paraliminals for 5 years I have some observations that I would like to share.

The first observation is that even though they do work good when you use them correctly the results aren't permanent and the results dissappear after a couple of days. My intuition tells me that maybe spending 20 minutes doing creative visulization would produce better long term results than spending 20 minutes listening to a paralimnal. Actually the best thing to do would be to combine visualization with the paraliminals. I think I will experiment with that.

Another thing I've noticed is that paraliminals for me can make me a cocky smartmouth bastard. One time I listened to the self esteem supercharger before talking to a girl that I liked. The paraliminal made me feel real cocky that day and I ended up saying jokes that offended her. I felt real depressed afterwards because I knew if I hadn't listened to the paraliminal than I wouldn't of made my rude remarks. Sometimes after I listen to paraliminals my wierd sense of humor comes out which I think is funny but other people get offended by it. I think paralimnals make the ego bigger. I wonder if they calibrate over 200 on the Hawkins scale of conciousness.

I also wonder if mastering NLP would be a better substitute than listening to paraliminals. It seems like it would and it would probably make the person smarter also. Paraliminals can make a person temporarily smarter but after a few days they will return to their normal IQ.

The last thing I want to mention is that the natural brilliance generator tape 6 is the best paraliminal. There has to be a way to mantain a constant tape 6 buzz. I've tried listening to it everyday like that Brian649 did but the results start to where off. I get the best buzz off of it when I listen to tape 6 every once in a while. I just can't seem to bottle that buzz day in and day out.

Thank you for sharing your experience. The brief effect of listening to a Paraliminal seems to be again the general advice here. For example, Alex suggests listening to a Paraliminal for a few days only. My experience is that, upon the basis of Holosync meditation, you add Paraliminal to hone certain parts of your personality according to tasks on hand.

Like anything in life... there is no magic pill or panacea. I believe you can do all the Paraliminals or spiritual development things you likfe, but you need a have a healthy lifestyle (ie good food, exercise, etc.).

I don't think the Paraliminals wear off as much as you think. Just like wearing new shoes we notice them when we first wear them but after a while they are just like our old shoes, another pair in the closet.

You highlight what is the problem with your experience

Why? Why do we need to maintain the buzz? No matter how much we like something soon enough we've had enough. You cannot get that buzz doing the same thing over and over. You become like the donkey chasing the carrot while walking in circles turning the farmers mill. It's fun for a while but you want to do different things too.

Ultimately, the paraliminals will only do for us what we allow them to do, so perhaps you had a hand in that transformation to a CSB? I wonder if "New Behavior Generator" might be of assistance in that.

Personally, I find that once I gain the benefits of a certain intention to use a particular paralim, then I no longer feel any need to keep listening to them for that purpose.

For example, listening to Sales Leap for a couple of weeks helped me to overcome my public speaking fears, and the benefits are permanent. I no longer listen to that tape for the same purpose, because it has already helped me integrate a change of behavior and personality.

So, I guess what I'm saying is that my experience with paralims is very different from Don Juan's. All my changes are permanent, and I move on with my life having reaped the benefits.

Perhaps the difference is in what the user expects will happen? That is, if you expect the benefits to last, they will. But if not, then they won't. As I'm learning, in life, you create your own reality.

I'm new to Paraliminals, but listen to 3 sessions throughout the day. They do create a feeling of well being, and are definitely opening up my sub-conscious mind.

As I understand it, from the booklets, you need to decide what you wish to obtain from the session before you start - and Paul seems to ask this at the start of the CD.

That focus I would assume helps with you Reticular Activating System, such that you get the best out of the session. You have to do some work upfront to get the best benefits.

If you cannot answer the initial question - either you have tackled it already, or cannot think of a new question in that area, then move on to another paraliminal or do something entirely new.

The CDs are a tool to help you, but you only get out what you put in.

That's right. That's why in effect you really think about your purpose for listening three times. First time when you look at the booklet and think about the questions and advise there. You follow through by putting the CD on once you've made some sort of a decision. Then again when Paul asks. On some Paraliminals he even asks you to stop the Paraliminal if you need more time to decide.

The third time is during the coming out. Where Paul reminds you why you were listening.

If you only listen to the sleep track I recommend you write down your purpose for listening. Writing strengthens your intention too.

I also felt the same way. Yet I thought that the knowledge wore right off. But I was in a situation months later after listening to one of the paraliminals and I said things that balanced the situation (Relationship issue) and I wondered why I said something like I did. And I a few days later I went to revisit the paraliminal session and then realized that what I said was word for word what Paul said in this Paraliminal. The stuff is inside, neat.
