I seem to have a slight bit of a problem with the more relaxing parts of this course, so I've had to start over a few times, and have been unable to proceed further. It seems that the majority of the time whenever I get to the different mind exercises, especially, the paraliminals, I tend to fall asleep. Does anyone else have this issue? How do I stay more conscious without being physically uncomfortable when I do this? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

How is your body positioned?

Are you lying down? Are you sitting back in a recliner?

You can try sitting indian style with your back straight. Basically sit in a position where you have to maintain consciousness in order to keep sitting that way.

Also, try letting go only so much. You can be fairly relaxed without melting into a gooey puddle.

You will learn more as you go through the course, and repeated repetition. If you are wanting to do everything perfect on the first try, you will be wasting energy. Listen to Paul, just go through the course relaxed, participate in each exercise and have fun. You will be genuinely surprise on how much you will have learned on you first pass through.

One thing I have noticed if you haven't done the preparation work for the paraliminals especially the labyrinth one the mind tends to get overwhelmed and turns off. While you may appear to be sleeping you are resting deeply. This is especially true if you 'wake up' with the end of the tape.

In that case grab the pen and paper and just start writing whatever comes to mind. I recommend freenoting if you didn't get any aware messages because you felt you were too deep. So set a target (10, 15, 20 minutes of writing)and write whatever comes to mind at the end of the laybryinth experience. You will probably discover the gems then.

Thanks Alex,

I did fall asleep during Vision labyrinth and remember your words to answer the questions anyway.

Wow. They just flowed. An instant pay back for my effort to read and learn from all posts.
Thank you everyone

Richard
